Greenhill Flooring Terms & Conditions

Greenhill Flooring operates greenhillflooring.com.au. Supply is by Greenhill Timbers trading as Greenhill Flooring, based at 170 Settlement Road, Thomastown VIC 3074. These terms apply to quotes, orders and the supply of flooring and related goods or services through this website or our team.

Quotes

Prices and product details shown on the site are a guide. A formal quote from us is an estimate only and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless we say otherwise. Quotes do not include delivery or installation unless we state that in writing. Timeframes in a quote are estimates, not guarantees.

Orders

An order is placed when you accept a quote in writing (including by email) or otherwise confirm that you want us to proceed. Placing an order or accepting a quote means you accept these terms. We may refuse or delay an order if goods are unavailable, credit arrangements are not agreed, or previous invoices remain unpaid.

Payment and title

Payment is due as set out on the invoice or quote. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is required before delivery or collection. Ownership of the goods passes to you once they are paid for in full.

Delivery and collection

Delivery dates are estimates only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Please inspect goods on receipt and tell us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or short-supplied.

Returns and cancellations

Flooring products are generally non-returnable once ordered or delivered, including special orders. This does not affect your rights for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods. Cancellations need our written consent and may not be accepted close to a delivery or collection date. Where we agree to accept a return of eligible goods, a handling fee may apply.

Colour and product variation

Flooring is a natural or manufactured product. Samples, images and descriptions are a guide only. Small variations in colour, grain, tone or finish can occur and do not usually entitle you to reject the goods.

Installation

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, installation is not included. Where we introduce you to an installer, that installer is independent. Installation quality and workmanship are between you and the installer.

Consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where those rights can be limited, our liability is limited to replacing or repairing the goods, or refunding or resupplying them, as the law allows.
